Forex (or foreign exchange) trading presents small, independent investors with an exciting opportunity to make money. However, before you dive into this type of investing, it is important to learn as much about the forex market as possible. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to learn forex online.

* Know About the Jargon

If you have just stepped into the Forex market, you may find that people around you often speak with terms which are foreign to you. It is important that you also learn those jargon so that you can easily listen to and learn from others. To do so, you can simply go to your favorite search engine and type “forex terms” or “forex jargon”. Once you find a good list of terms, make sure you spend some time mastering them.

* Take Online Courses For Free

If you are new to Forex market, it is a good idea to start with some free online courses. Again, you can do so by searching for “free online forex course” on the like with your favorite search engine. Alternatively, you can go to a message board frequented by investors and ask if anyone there knows of any good, free courses you should try.

* Learn From the Experts

If you are already an advanced player in the field but like to learn more, you can also consider the paid options. Many experts, with years of experience in forex trading, are now offering their teaching services online. Although you will have to pay for such courses, the upside is that taking such a course is almost like having a personal tutor, or a mentor who will be there to answer any of your questions, and help clear up anything you find confusing.

Again, probably the best way to find a good, reputable expert to teach you about the forex market is to ask around. Others who were once in the same boat you are in now will be happy to help steer you in the right direction.

* Make Use of Free Trial

The number one risk associated with any financial investment is of course the loss of money. To minimize your risk as a beginner, you can simply sign up for a demo or test account with Forex transaction sites, and most of these sites do offer such service. For about thirty days, in most cases, you can actually try your hands at forex trading for free. These demo accounts will not only let you know whether you are ready to risk your money on the real thing, they will also help you gain hands-on experience.

As you can see, there are a number of ways you can learn Forex online. It is true that Forex trading has opened up a whole world of possibilities to average Joe investors, but you should stay calm. There is no short cut to success in any market, and your investment in education can pave the road for you.

Many of us have traded stocks and shares of the past decades. Some of us even got into trading options and warrants. But only in recent years have the powers and the advent of the Internet allowed us day traders to enter the World of 4x trading. Banks and large brokers kept us out of what they saw as their exclusive domains. But with the Internet, and quite simple to use 4x software, 4x trading is in our hands now forever.

This has been an excellent thing too, as it has grown the liquidity of the market multiple times over. Just as it has brought a flurry of speculators to trade in the World’s largest market place – currency exchange it has bought a greater level of transparency. We can now all see and be involved with the effect news has on the world’s currencies and economies.

Way back before the 4x trading doors opened up for us smaller players, I remember Kerry Packer (Australia’s richest man before he died). This probably preceded 4x software tools we enjoy today, and I’m sure his 4x traders were pounding the phones with buy and sell orders as much as they were glued to their computers for 4x trading news.

In fact in the history of Australia and the 4x market for currency, only the Reserve Bank of Australia exhibited similar levels of influence as did Kerry Packer – a man known to take large gambles.

So, we hundreds of thousands of 4x traders will soon be joined by millions of people new to 4x trading, and I think it is reasonable for an even larger range of 4x software to emerge over time.

If you can remember the different between Windows 3.1 and Windows XP etc, then you can imagine how far 4x software will develop over the next 10-20 years when there is an added few million 4x traders then also involved.

They say the 4x market is the largest in the world with 3 trillion dollars traded daily. Certainly India and China’s national trade are included in that as far as their export trading is concerned. However, what is not yet involved in every day 4x trading are their affluent populations. And trust me, they will be all over it soon enough.

It won’t be long before a veritable army of Chinese investors will turn the heat up on the 4x trading arena. The stock market here has risen 80% since January 2009, and real estate prices have leapt by 35%. All that real wealth from booming businesses will all soon find a way into forex soon enough.

Awash with cash, growing at an amazing rate, laying down massive road and rail infrastructure, barely noticing the collapse of exports with the demise of USA and European markets, China is astutely evaluating where to park its foreign reserves. The USA holding $2,000,000,000,000 ($2,000 billion) is surely holding enough. Any devaluation of the US$ against the RMB surely must be of concern.

And there is much talk of the need for a World currency other than the US$ to provide stability at a time where clearly the USA is insolvent. Just as there is talk of bring the RMB into the World stage as one of the solid currencies just as we have the Japanese yen. 4x trading will come into a new light if we have the RMB as one side of a currency pair with which to trade.

I personally don’t remember how the Japanese Yen became a major 4x currency. But at one stage Japan was the largest economy in the World and so it seems natural to have USD and JPY as a 4x currency pair. China is the new financial super power. Do the math.

<div style='italic;' class='tradesbyline'>by Ahmad Hassam

Before you open an account with a forex broker and start trading live, you should know that the most important thing for you is good money management. Money management means how much of your portfolio, you are willing to risk on a single trade. How many contracts your risk tolerance warrants?

The important question is how you can improve your investment results by making small changes to your trading strategies. Proper money management can be the difference between becoming a successful forex trader in the long run or an unsuccessful one who decimates his/her account in a few weeks.

Have you ever played poker? If not, watched it being played online or on TV! If you have then you will never see a good poker player play all his/her cards on a single bet. Good poker players know that by risking only a small percentage of their money on a single bet, they can win and lose. But he/she will still play the next hand. If he/she puts everything on the table on a single bet; it will have to be a 100% sure bet. An impossible thing, you can never be 100% sure. Life is full of probabilities. Nothing is for sure.

Forex trading is far more complicated than playing poker. You are dealing with hundreds of unknown variables that affect the markets instead of only 52 cards. To succeed in forex trading, you must understand and implement the money management principles.

Many pitfalls will cross your way while trading. As a trader you should be constantly aware of two emotions; greed and fear. In case you win a trade, you will become greedy and would want to risk more to make one big win. You would want to strike it rich in one or two trades. This will drive you to take more and more risk.

In case you lose a trade, you will become fearful of risking your money on the next trade. Now, fear will take over and impair your decision making. Fear will make you lose confidence in your judgment and decision making. Lets see how fear and greed can impair your trading results.

Lets suppose you have a run of successful trades that makes you very happy. You are feeling overconfident. You are not satisfied on risking only 2% of your account on one single trade and you want to risk more on the trade. You are thinking, the more you have in a trade, the more you will make if you are right. You are willing to increase your risk to 5%. You increase it to 5% and you win. You increase it further to 10% and you once again win. You finally decide to put 25% of your account at risk on the next big trade, but misfortune strikes all of a sudden. Your successful run comes to an end and you lose big.

Suppose you had a $100,000 trading account and you had foolishly risked 25% or $25,000 on one trade that you desperately wanted to win. Losing $25,000 means you have only $75,000 in your account now after your loss. How much you need to make to get back the original balance of $100,000; you need to make $25,000 again to go back to the original balance. It means you will have to make 25,000/75,000= 33%, so you risked 25% but now you will need to make 33% to get back your original amount.

Many investors once they lose a trade become desperate and try to risk more to recover their original loss. They end up losing more and more and very soon those investors destroy their accounts. Most of them are out of trading forever soon. There are other traders who try to reduce risk even more on making a losing trade; eventually they lose any opportunity for meaningful growth in their accounts.

I like a good return on my investments, and I thought that ETFs, while a safe investment, probably wouldn’t bring the returns I wanted on my money. The low buy in cost with the low risk makes them attractive, but the yields can be disappointing and I considered them a long term strategy.

A friend of mine told me about ETF Trading Signals and said he was doing better with his ETF investments since he started subscribing to the service. I was skeptical, but I took a look and did some investigating. ETF Trading Signals changed the way I looked as ETFs as an investment instrument. While the returns were less than I make on some of my hot stocks, the risk was a lot lower. I decided to try it out.

Generally ETFs are long term investments. Unlike the techniques of hot stocks or trend following, most people who invest in ETFs are in it for the long haul. That means your capital is tied up and your returns may not be as high as you would like. ETF Trading Signals gives you a heads up on which ETFs are making the most profits, so you can buy and sell ETFs like you would any other issue.

So by using the alerts and tips from ETF Trading Signals, you can increase your profits without increasing your risks. There are some advantages to ETFs in addition to the low risk. The buy in on ETFs is relatively low. Even if you don’t have a lot to invest, you can buy into ETFs. If you have a strategy to buy and sell ETFs, you can make a reasonably good profit. You do have to pay an annual fee though, as with any mutual fund.

I’m not ready to give up any of my other investment strategies, but adding ETFs to my portfolio has been a good idea. Part of keeping your money safe is in diversifying your investments so that losses in one area are covered by gains in another. ETFs are part of that strategy. ETF Trading Signals isn’t always right, but so far their predictions have held up for me. With ETFs, you’re more likely to sell because of low returns rather than because of any losses.

This market may not be for everyone. i like to keep my investments diverse for the best returns. I still use hot stock and trend following strategies and I have a little action going in Forex as well. ETFs are an addition to my other market methods and it is one more thing to watch, but I believe its a good investment. You can still, of course, buy ETFs as a long term investment if you aren’t interested in keeping up with all the markets ups and downs.

So far, by following ETF Trading Signals I’ve been able to stay ahead of the curve and make more on my investments than I expected to when I decided to enter this market. I often make more with my other methods, but I also risk more and I have taken heavy losses on hot stocks in the past. The risk is so much lower for ETFs, that I’m more likely to sell because I’m not happy with the return than because of any financial loss on the issue.

Look into ETFs as a long or short term investment and check out ETF Trading Signals to find out which issues are most likely to bring the best yields. This may be the best market for the small investor, because of the low risk factor. I’ve done better with this than I thought was possible.

If you’re accumulating more debt than you are income, then it may be time to consider getting a debt consolidation loan. A debt consolidation loan is perfect for anyone who has a lot of bills due to debt and can?t continue to pay them with their current income. If you don?t keep up and pay your debts then you risk getting charged late fees and having your credit damaged further. There are many ways that you can stop this issue before it becomes a huge problem.

You will want to start by applying for an unsecured debt consolidation loan before it becomes too late and your credit is destroyed further. By getting such a loan you will be able to take care of your debts by paying them off. There are some lenders that specialize in aiding people with bad credit to get a debt consolidation loan. Unfortunately you still may not get approved depending on how bad your credit is. However if you don?t qualify for an unsecured consolidation loan then you will be forced to seek an alternative route to handling your debts.

Lowering your monthly payments and reducing your interest rate can be helpful. Some companies specialize in doing just that. While you?re not getting a loan, the company will talk with your creditors to help you out. If they feel that they will be more likely to be paid off then creditors will work with the company in hopes that the debt is solved. The company will usually charge you a fee for their services. Sometimes they will charge you and pay the creditor for you. Having bad credit can be a burden however this is one way you can lower your debt payments with bad credit.

You should do a background check on companies before you choose to hire one. It’s unfortunate but some of the companies are not legitimate and will not perform the services they say they will. The easiest way to avoid this is to check with the Better Business Bureau and see if the company is registered with them. You can also use the internet to see if the company has any complaints against it or if most customers are completely satisfied. A legitimate company is a great resource for people with bad credit to help them clear their debt.

You should start by doing a background check on a company that you’ve chosen to work with. After you?ve done a background check then you will want to check various websites and see if the company has any complaints or compliments from past customers. This is important as some of the companies will take your money and say that they will pay your creditors when in reality they will just keep your money or they may pay it late. The right company can improve your current situation.

Its really a problem having a bad credit you have to be worried how to settle the credits. If you start to see the problem arising then you should find a solution before it gets worse and becomes unmanageable.

<div style='italic;' class='tradesbyline'>by Ahmad Hassam

Only a few years ago, most of the people had never heard of trading the foreign exchange markets. Even now, many may not have heard of it. But so much information is available on the internet that you just have to type in the word forex training in a search engine and a mass of information is available for free.

Most people, new to trading begin learning on their own through a trial and error process of wins and losses. However, this is probably not the best or the right approach to getting good forex training. These seven forex training secrets, you should always keep in your mind when looking for good forex training:

1) Follow the rules of a simple trading approach. Keep it simple.

2) You should accept responsibility for the personal decisions and actions in the market. No one, no system and no methodology is responsible for you interpretation of the markets.

3) Make sure, before moving into the world of live trading, you trade a demo account successfully. Consider first trading a mini account with a very small amount of margin to ease you into the world of live trading once you are ready to trade. When you achieve success on a mini trading account, only then you should consider moving to the standard account. It is where risk and profits are higher.

4) You should do your due diligence in choosing a right forex broker. You should avoid brokers that like to play games such as holding trades in slow and fast moving markets to gain advantage at your expense. Establish a live account with a forex broker known for integrity. Choice of the right forex broker will determine whether you succeed in trading or not. Always plan a trade with more than a scalpers mentality of making 1-5 pips per trade. This way a broker has ample time to cover a submitted trade or pass it onto a clearing house.

5) Even when you have experience of trading other markets, invest in personal education when trading forex. The forex is a totally different industry. It has much more volatility than other markets. Make sure the mentoring person is walking the talk when selecting a mentor to assist you in developing the skills necessary to survive trading the forex and make profit.

6) Only disciplined traders succeed in the long run. Learn self discipline as a forex trader. The greatest distance to overcome in each trade is between the ears. Attitude is everything in the markets.

7) Dont give up! It is necessary to just hang in there even if it takes times to trade the demo account and a mini account. Persevere in the markets. All too often, traders go live way too soon and lose their money because they have skipped the necessary steps.

<div style='italic;' class='tradesbyline'>by Lisa Appleton

The wonderful thing about technology is that different software can be generated in just a matter of months.

And the wonderful thing about the internet is that feedback and reviews can be shared in just a matter of a few clicks.

In the field of foreign exchange trading, the newest software to be released is the FAP Turbo.

There are already a number of reviews about it but Ive personally tried the FAP Turbo and I have found a few features of the FAP Turbo that I thought were really useful. Right from the start, I felt that the FAP Turbo was promising software.

I really feel that the FAP Turbo is worth taking the risk. What really enticed me to trying the FAP Turbo is that it has a number of back tests done with it. You can never tell which software works and which one will just make you lose money.

The FAP Turbo has nine years of back testing an all of that yielded favorable results. Those back tests are good indications that the FAP Turbo will work well in live trades.

Actually, you do not find anything unique with the FAP Turbo when you view its sales page. It looks just like any ad for a Forex trading robot. It has the same outrageous claims of how youll never lose a single dollar trading with the robot and how every trade will turn you significantly richer.

But what really made me interested in the FAP Turbo is the updates on the live account that they had the FAP Turbo do.

Another feature of the FAP Turbo which I found out after doing a few tests was that it has tight stop losses.

This is what I noticed with the FAP Turbo right after I began using it. The trading software that Ive tried in the past all had huge stop losses and thats something which could lead to your downfall. Thats because it will take a long time and lots of money before your robot senses that youre losing money.

One thing that youll also appreciate with the FAP Turbo is how easy it is to install into your computer. It wont take you long to get the software set up and running in your computer.

I might think that the software works but this may not be the case in everyone who tries it and its always good to know that you can ask for a full refund.

<div style='italic;' class='tradesbyline'>by Ahmad Hassam

A moving average (MA) is one of the most basic technical indicators and is an average of a predetermined number of prices such as the closing prices calculated over a number of periods like 100 candles. The higher the number of candles in the average, the smoother the moving average line is. The lower the number of candles in the candle, the choppier it is.

Moving averages are of two types. 1) Simple Moving Averages (SMAs). 2) Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs). SMA is only a simple average. It is obtained by adding all the candles that you would like to measure. EMA is obtained by exponentially smoothing the SMA. The EMA responds more quickly to price changes as compared to SMA. EMA pays more attention to newer candles.

Instead of watching the up and down behavior of each candle you are watching the relatively smooth moving average line. A MA makes it easier to visualize price action without statistical noise.

Moving averages are lagging not leading indicators. Its signal occurs after the new price movement not before it. Moving averages do not think ahead. They can tell you what has happened, not what will happen.

Still, moving averages have a critical role to play in planning your trades in advance. Past does not always predict the future but it sure likes to repeat itself. Several different moving averages are used at once. They offer different pieces of the puzzle when planning our trades.

When the market is steadily rolling, moving averages keep us in our trades. If something changes like the moving average crossover, time to get out or trade the new direction. Moving averages are frequently used as price filters.

A short term moving average has to cross a long term moving average to filter choppier price action into a reliable indication for true price action. The most obvious use of MAs is to watch for crossovers to confirm new trends.

Short term moving averages are more sensitive to price action as they are measuring fewer candles. Longer term moving averages are less sensitive to price action. They tend to be more flat and are less likely to whipsaw up and down.

If the fast EMA crosses below the slow EMA, it is predicting new downward price action. When MAs do cross over you should take notice at once. On the other hand, if the fast EMA crosses above the slow EMA, it is predicting a new upward price action.

However, such crossovers should not prompt you to jump into a trade at once. MA crossovers often occur too late and will put you in the market with an unfavorable risk to reward ratio.

Not every crossover is the same. A crossover should be part of the trade plan that you have developed in advance. Moving average crossovers are great as they are easy to see and will immediately attract your attention but they simply do not replace the work of planning your trades.

Online forums are becoming popular places for people to go online and get information. Forex subject is no different there are many trading forums in Internet where traders can share their opinions and learn new stuff. However as with any online resource you need to be careful with the information you find on such forums.

The general meaning of word “forum” is a place where people can gather to talk and share their pinons. The beginning form of the Internet forum was bulletin boards – website where visitors could write their posts. Nowadays it’s much easier to join a forum and start immediately post messages.

That’s why today it’s very convenient to go to an online trading forum and find an answer to your question. If you don’t find it you can post your question. It will be answered by participants sooner or later.

For example forums can be very useful in terms of giving you opinions and feedback about certain product you may be interested in. Most traders who used that product can give their feedback on forums. You can use the search option to find such reviews. That can help you to make up your mind abut buying that product.

Before you make a decision about the product go through many reviews. Otherwise a few people’s opinions will not give you a complete picture. Remember that some people may have extremely good or bad experience which may be unusual. Therefore search for good and bad feedback to construct a good picture about what you are looking for.

When you have a question about trading forum can be a very valuable resource to get an answer. But again keep in mind that different people will give you different answers and you don’t have to trust everyone.

Don’t get confused just because so many people will give you contradictory advice and tell you that their way is the best one. People are different and they make money differently trading currencies.

There is a well known issue in online forums. You don’t know the people who are answering your question. Some of them may be really professional and know what they are talking and doing. However many such people who talk with authority but in reality they only trade on a demo account. Therefore you don’t have to be taking any advice from anyone without doing your own thinking.

Another issue with the online forums is that it’s very easy to get addicted to them. You may find yourself wasting a lot of time on forums instead of studying the market and taking the trades. That’s why you need to set a clear goals and carefully plan your trading day.
